The BMW 4 Series Comes to Indonesia, Using an Aggressive Design

BMW Group Indonesia has just announced the presence of two new Series 4 variants in Indonesia, namely the 440i Coupe M Sport and the 430i Convertible. The Series 4 model has become the benchmark for premium coupes with sales of more than 400,000 units worldwide since its introduction.
"The success of this model cannot be separated from the ability of the BMW 4 Series to combine aesthetic aspects with the best sporty performance. Therefore, the focus of this new vehicle is on the elegant exterior and interior design as well as high performance. The new BMW 4 Series features a wider body angle design and a longer wheelbase than the previous generation. The low rear roof, long bonnet, passenger cabin positioned far behind, and unified roofline showcase BMW's design language that shows practicality. The dual headlights typical of BMW are now enhanced with a bi-LED type.
While the taillights bring a new design. The L-shaped LED lights are now no longer divided into a number of individual lines but are combined to produce curves on the outer edges that appear to converge. The indicator on the taillights now has a wider proportion to the inside which also functions as a turn signal for the first time.
Entering the cabin, detailing with the use of chrome and high-gloss colors on the main console emphasizes the exclusive impression. The double stitching on the instrument panel is the main attraction along with three color choices of seats and interior trim.
The instrument screen with the new 8.8-inch navigation model makes it easy to access technology and navigation features. Under the hood, the entire line of the new BMW 4 Series is equipped with a BMW TwinPower Turbo engine. The new BMW 440i Coupe M Sport is powered by a 2,998 cc engine with a maximum power of 326 HP and a maximum torque of 450 nm.
Meanwhile, the latest BMW 430i Convertible is powered by a 1,998 cc engine with a maximum power of 252 HP and a maximum torque of 350 nm. Both are equipped with 8-speed Steptronic transmission. The new BMW 4 Series is available at all authorized BMW dealerships starting in July 2017. The new 440i Coupe M Sport and 430i Convertible variants are offered at a price of IDR 1.289 billion off the road.
